What is CPA?
CPA is short for Cost per Action. By definition, CPA is a digital advertising payment model where a publisher will get a commission when a user does something (action). The action given can be in the form of filling out a form, registering for a promo or newsletter, downloading an application, and purchasing a product.
CPA uses a Pay per Leads system so that every time there is action there will be a commission given. The nominal commission that will be obtained also differs according to the type of action received. The commission usually ranges from 1-10% of the product price.
Apart from that, CPA is a derivative of affiliate marketing. Therefore, the way CPA works is almost the same as affiliate marketing in general. Even though the commission obtained from CPA tends to be smaller, the opportunity to get the number of leads can be higher.
